Ona a side note The big shield wielding enemies were absolute BULLSHIT(expecially the ones that summoned agile and defensive demons as well)Ģ.Story wise-Altho I loved the general story it just reealy felt rushed.Im sure that it was mostly due to the tight budget and schedule, but I was really feeling that things were just happening to fast,I will explain what I mean.So Fury has this big character arc thing going, wich is the best they can go with, but the turning point she gets is waay to drastic. What the Devs were trying to do was this genius thing where she confronts parts of her in every Sin,but honestly due to how things were going quick it barely felt like it until we reached Lust. This sin was masterfully done and felt like the first actual antagonistic figure in this story. But the thing is this character was brough up by the angels as well,it was build upon trough the characters like Ursiel, they were showing the results of Lust’s power up(that mention they have one)with the corrupted angels ecc.Basically we needed more of that “influence” for the other sins(altho I dont know how gluttony would fit with fury). Mob enemies shouldnt kill you in 2 or 3 shots and the mob enemies ABSOLUTELY shouldnt be allowed to take soo many hits,I can understand the demons and angels to an extent, but not the damn Skeletons,THOSE were really crossing the line.As far as the damage they do,ok,Fury shouldnt get hit and thats fine but if thats the case they should give us some small invicibility frames when she dodges like in darksouls(Vulgrim is basically a Dark Souls 1 bonfire, when you die you gotta retrieve your souls from where you died and you respawn as well as anyone you killed,so the invincibility frames wasnt that much of a stretch). Also making the small enemies this strong complicates things due to the structure of the close environments and the lock on system(those worked fine in the previous games cause you were able to tear trough the enemies with relative ease) Combat wise-Although I freaking loved the general combat in the game,it coudve been better. The problem here is that Some soulsborne like elements dont mash well with the Darksiders enemy structure(You are lying to yourself if you think there are none just cause every moron is saying that everythng is like darksouls these days) Now,I believe that Darksiders 3 couldve been a AT LEAST a 9 if it wasnt for a few things:(Keep in mind that these elements are what would get the game on a higher level, they do NOT make the overall game bad)ġ. The game was awesome, the gameplay was fun,and the story was good enough(I’ll explain why later). On my meter where I judge Darksiders games in my full bias mode Id say that Darksiders 2 is a 9.5/10,Darksiders 1 is a 8.5/10 and Darksiders 3 is an 8/10. Imma give my opinion now so be ready for spoilers. So,finished my first playtrough of darksiders 3 and-ooo eeh was it a fun ride!Fury officially holds the Title of second favorite Darksiders character(only after Death)
